ABOUT DWCC

2018:  The Year of the Blue Woman

--video by Lydia Casarez Rogers

2019:  POWERFUL * PERSISTENT * PROGRESSIVE

2018:  "Here's to STRONG women. May we KNOW them, May we BE them, May we RAISE them, and May we ELECT them."

2017:  "Civility is claiming and caring for one's own identity, needs, and beliefs, without degrading someone else's in the process."       -- Dahnke and Spath

Join Us at a Meeting!

We meet in three locations in Comal County.  You will be welcomed at any of them.

We meet on the 2nd Friday of every month at 10:30am at the Tye Preston Library at Canyon Lake.  We meet on the 3rd Monday of the month at New Braunfels Public Library in New Braunfels.   We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Mammen Family Public Library in Bulverde.

We Exchange Ideas!

We gather to discuss current political issues, ways to promote the Democratic Party in local, state, and national elections, and to increase our knowledge about social change.

We Host Speakers!

We stay informed and current about progressive causes, and concerns by inviting speakers from various organizations to share information at our meetings.

We Have Fun!
We take our politics seriously but make our gatherings fun.  We host fundraising events, participate in local parades, block walk, phone bank but never forget that food, fun, and fellowship with like minded women is a big part of all that we do.
