We Host Speakers

Our speakers cover a wide range of topics, from immigrant issues to civil rights to climate change; and, in an election year, you will hear from candidates and about referenda.

We Share Experiences

Our membership is active.  Members have been witnesses at the Texas/Mexico border.  Marches and rallies in Comal County are well-attended by DWCC members, and we share our stories of distant events we attend.

We Exchange Ideas

We gather to discuss current political issues, ways to promote the Democratic Party in local, state, and national elections, and to increase our knowledge about social change.

We Contribute to the Community

We organize voter registration events and candidate forums.  We raise funds for scholarships and to donate to candidates.  We collect supplies for people such as victims of unfair immigration policies.  We support local events such as the downtown El Dia de los Muertes celebration.
