National Hispanic Heritage Fiesta

Saturday, September 23rd, the Democratic Women of Comal County in New Braunfels, hosted a Fiesta for Hispanic Heritage Month. It was a huge success as we had over 60 people join us at the Comal County Democratic Party Headquarters.

Those in attendance included: DREAMERS, DACA supporters, YDSA from Canyon high school, Liberal Housewives of NB, three TX21 Candidates (Derrick Crowe, Elliot McFadden, and Chris Perri), and a surprise visit by Congressman Lloyd Doggett.

We had a dancer by the name of Maria Rodriguez dance 3 traditional ballet folklorico dances. There were arts and crafts and Cafe Con Leche. Everyone had fun. Thank you to Mauri and Matt Fagan, Lydia and Bob Rogers and everyone who had a hand in putting this event together.
