Mar 9, 2018 Monthly Meeting
There wasn’t much time for a business meeting during the March 9th DWCC meeting. Thirty-one members and 11 guests gathered at the Tye Preston Library to enjoy a jam-packed program.

Maria Saenz-Rodriguez presented information on the messaging training program she has created for the state Democratic Party: “How to Talk Democratic: Getting Our Message Out!” Maria is active in the Comal County Democratic Party, is a committee woman on the State Democratic Executive Committee, and serves on two subcommittees, Rules and Messaging. We hope to have Maria back for a workshop in the future.
Molly Bursey and Becca DeFelice from Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America updated the group on upcoming activities sponsored by their organization.

Joseph Kopser dropped by and spoke to the group about his campaign for Texas House District 21. He will be in a runoff race with Mary Street Wilson for the Democratic nomination for this seat.
After a short business meeting, the group adjourned, with some of the attendees continuing to socialize during lunch at the Italian Garden Café.
